About Yeovil Mountaineering Club

    The club was formed in 1987 by a small group of keen climbers, since when it has grown to a healthy size and become affiliated to the British Mountaineering Council. It exists to bring together rock climbers, mountaineers and adventurous hill walkers in the Yeovil area, providing companions with a common interest in the sport.

Membership Yeovil Mountaineering Club

    The club exists to bring together adventurous people in the Yeovil area for the purpose of rock climbing, mountaineering and hill walking. The club does not provide noviciate training in any mountain/climbing activities. We accept membership applications from people with sufficient climbing experience to be able to belay competently and climb safely.
